Most acutely after the 10K last week. Mine seems to be right on the inner meniscus of my left peg (I dread a meniscus tear!) - a very specific sore spot. I've been icing after each run and using my magic massage rollers on my calves & ITB, and, touching a large log of oak, the knee seems to be improving. (I'm the same way - have never had knee jip before...). I'm breaking in relatively new orthotics which I've been assuming may be the cause for me while my legs adjust, but who knows?
